Gallery Information
Brazier Fine Art, Inc. is a large gallery representing
artists who paint in realistic, impressionistic styles, or other styles based
in realism. Most pieces are oil or acrylic paintings. Works by
represented artists are displayed at all times. Artists affiliated
with the gallery are represented exclusively by Brazier Fine Art in the Richmond
area.
Our gallery has been in business since August 1995. Only works painted by artists from outside the Richmond area are shown. Currently, about thirty-five artists from all over the United States and other parts of the world are on view.
The Gallery space is divided into room-like areas. Each area is painted a different color and is accessorized with antiques and furnishings to give the impression of a home or office setting.
Location:
The gallery is located at 3401 West Cary Street in Richmond, Virginia, on a quaint walking street of shops fondly called Carytown. We are located in an older section of town that is surrounded by and accessible from many affluent neighborhoods.
Unique shops, antique stores, galleries, and restaurants line the eight blocks of Carytown. The gallery's corner location allows for lots of window views from the sidewalk and street.
Exhibits:
Each month Brazier Fine Art presents a new show featuring the work of one or more artists, though paintings by all of the gallery artists are on display at all times. Please check our schedule of events page to find out which shows have an opening reception. Click here!
Consultation Service:
Another complimentary service offered by the gallery is in-house art consultation. The gallery will take works of art to a client's home or office for consideration.
