All portraits are done in oil on canvas or linen.

Portrait cost is determined by the amount of body in the painting rather than its size.  Adults, life size or under.  Contact the gallery for portrait pricing.

Frames

Prices do not include frames.  If appropriate, the artist will assist in frame selection.

Final Portrait Size

The artist will make strong suggestions as to the appropriate size of the portrait for the desired composition of the portrait.  The artist reserves the right to alter the size of the portrait slightly to enhance the composition of the portrait.  (This will not reflect a price change.)

Procedure

The artist works from a combinations of photographs taken by her or her photographer and sittings, if possible.  The cost of photography is included in the listed price.  Travel and expenses are an additional charge to the list price.

Payment Schedule

One-third payment deposit is requested when the artist receives a signed contract.  This establishes the client's place on the artist's waiting list.  An additional one-third is requested when work begins and the final one-third, plus tax on the whole, is paid at the time of delivery.
