For many years, Howard Carr, ran his own graphics design business, however, thankfully for the art world, he finally gave in to an overwhelming desire to spend his entire time painting what he wanted to rather than what he had to.  He eventually wound up in the beautiful Southwest (Arizona) where he states "there's nothing like the light...."   Carr began his association with Brazier Fine Art in the year 2000 and immediately became very popular and widely recognized for the special luminous quality of his landscapes and still lifes.  His lush palette and thick, "juicy" paint applied with confident brushstrokes are key components of Carr's trademark style.
